    Description

The D-Frame Solenoids of the type series LCL meet high standards in terms of performance and life expectancy.

Compact dimensions and low power consumption, fast switching times and smooth operation characterise this series. The housing is made of precision steel tube. The armature is guided in highly wear-resistant maintenance-free precision bearings on both sides, resulting in consistent solenoid performance throughout the long service life. Parts at risk of corrosion are electro-galvanized.

The mode of operation of the solenoid is based on the force exerted on ferromagnetic bodies in the magnetic field. Linear solenoids transform electric energy into mechanical energy. Basically the stroke movement takes place from the stroke starting position to the stroke end position (active direction of movement), while the armature reset is accomplished by external forces, e.g. by spring, weight or magnetic forces (passive direction of movement). The solenoids can be installed in any position, but the force transfer should be in axial direction only. The supply voltages can be variable with our standard supply voltages reaching from 12V DC to 205V DC. Our pull and push-type solenoids are available with different connections reaching from standard connectors over pins to lead wires.

With this versatility and compact design, the Frame Solenoids are a great fit for many different industries. Some of the current applications for these solenoids are in conveyor technology, automation technology, and machine-building.

    Version with protection class IP54

The coil of the frame solenoid LCL STANDARD are encapsulated in plastic and have an IP 40 protection. If a higher level of protection is required, KENDRION offers a version with bellows. Protection class IP54 is achieved for the LCL-D with bellows.
