To ensure that there is no need for a costly production stoppage, you can have several switches placed along the assembly line in the factory. These communicate with receivers and transmit their status via Ethernet to a Siemens PLC. Signals, monitors, lights, and sound call the attention of the responsible production technician/manager, if necessary, without having to stop the assembly line.

The wireless technology makes it easy to move and place the switches in other locations as needed, as no cables are required.
